Step 1 Warm-up & Revision ( 8m )
1. Sing a song. (学生通过唱英语歌曲Friend集中注意力,并借助歌词复习形容词big, old, tall等词)
2. 故事引入:The Rabbit and the Tortoise(老师手拿兔子、乌龟剪卡进行角色扮演“龟兔赛跑”,把学生带入熟悉的语景中,领悟新词race,first,winner等,最后把学生分成rabbit组和 tortoise组,提出竞赛目标要求)。
T/RABBIT(singing): Wow! There are so many friends here today? Hello!
How are you ? What day is today?( Ss…)
T/RABBIT: It’s a fine day to play. Look! Who’s coming?
T/Tortoise: Good morning ,boys and girls.(Ss:…) Good morning ,Miss Rabbit!
T/RABBIT: Morning! What are you doing , Mr Tortoise?
T/Tortoise: I’m running.
T/RABBIT: Running? Ha, ha ,you can’t run. Your legs are too short. My legs are long .I can run faster than you .
