Bill: I’m hungry/ thirsty/ cold/ tired/ ill.

Step 2 Presentation

Watch and answer

Bill is ill. How does Bill’s Mum say to him?

Teach : take this pill

Ss read the rhyme by themselves.

Listen to the tape and read together.

Make a new rhyme.

Step 3 Practice

Bill is happy now, but Mum is hot.

Mum may say: 1. I’m hot. 2.Yes, I am. 3. No, I’m hot.

Pair work 1. Each group must ask in different ways.

Ss write down a dialogue between Bill and Nick.
