1. Greeting
2. Lead in
Watch a cartoon of Peppa Pig and answer two questions:
(1). What’s the matter with Georgy?
(2). Who did Father Pig call for help(帮助)?
Let’s think: What did they say when they were making the call?
(教学意图:复习第一节课的内容have a cold,并引出常用电话用语。)
Step Ⅱ. Fun Time
Task 1: Show two pictures to students, and tell them:
Ms. Zhang is in Canada, and I’m ill.
Guess: What’s the matter ?
Teach: I have a fever./ I have a cold./ I have a cough./I have a headache.
Task 2: let’s match and read
Match the four words (fever, cold, cough, headache) with the pictures.
And read twice.
