Step1 Warming up

1.Greeting.

T: Class begins. Hello, class! Nice to see you.

Ss: Nice to see you, too.

T: Thank you. Sit down, please. Here’s a nice song for you. Let’s Enjoy it!

Ss Enjoy the song and try to sing.

T:Very good. Sings well. Do you know, What’s the name of this song?

Ss: ‘How are you?’

Good. The name of this song is (揭题：Unit8 How are you? 板书) Read after me.

2. Free talk.

T: Hi, how are you?

S: I’m fine, thank you./

I’m ill./ Not so good. (板书) I have a/an…(cold)

T: I’m sorry to heat that./Take care. Can you spell fever? Is he right? Let’s look. F-E-V-E-R, fever, Yes or No? Read after me, f-e-v-e-r, fever. I have a fever.(板书) act it. How about you? Take care.

3. Do the puzzle. Revise the illnesses.

T: Now boys and girls. Can you find other illnesses?

Ss:... cold/c-o-l-d, I have a cold. Let’s act it.
