Teaching procedure:
Step 1 Lead- in
Lead in:ask the students a question.
T:As we know, health is very important to each of us. However, sometimes we may get ill, then what should we do? Do you know?
Ss:Yes/ No.
T:Well, some students know and some students don’t know. Maybe our new lesson today can give us the answer. Do you want to know?
Ss:Yes
T:Ok. Today we will learn something about health and illness.
2.Show the title and the teaching aims.
Step 2 Presentation
Review: review diffirent kinds of illnesses.
Ask and answer according to the pictures.
Then open your books .Listen to the tape and finish 1c, then check the answer together.
Make new dialogues in groups according to the given example in 1c, then ask some students to show it out.(小组表演对话)
Listen to 1a ,and finish 1b, then check the answers together.
Watch the flash of 1a,then follow it.
Make the students look at the blackboard and read 1a together.
Read 1a again.(分角色朗读)
Recite 1a and check it.
Lead Ss to summarise and master the usage of "should/ shouldn't", and other language points in this section.
Step 3 Consolidation
1. Turn to Page28. Work alone.Ask Ss to read 2 and match. (进入2练习。)
