Step 1 Warm up and lead in
1. What’s in your pencil case? Try to use‘There is/are ...’ to make your sentences.
目的:复习there be句型。
2. What’s in this bag? Try to use ‘Is there/Are there any...? ’to guess. E.g. Is there a pen in this bag? Are there any books in this bag? (pencil case, rubber, ruler, some sweets, some flowers)
目的:以游戏的方式导入there be句型的一般疑问句。一方面,游戏能营造英语课堂的气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣。另一方面,也能为本课的新知做铺垫。
3. (猜完之后,把所有的东西摆在桌子上) Now, look, what’s on this desk?
目的:初步感知there be句型肯定形式和一般疑问句形式的区别及联系。
