教材分析
此绘本通过描写不同动物妈妈的特征，表达不同的妈妈，都拥有一样的爱的故事。此绘本情节较为平淡，但语言多以重复的形式出现，因此在教学中可利用语言特点帮助理解绘本所传达的情感。此外，绘本中图片绘出了关爱、温暖的感觉，在授课时可利用图片对学生进行应到，体会作者所传达的情感。
学生分析
五年级学生有了一定的语言基础，也有一定表达自我的欲望。但是也有一部分同学基础较为薄弱，课堂上不敢、不能大胆表达。同时由于学习环境及认知水平的限制，有一些识记、分析、概括、思辨及批判的思维能力较弱。鉴于以上，在设计及授课时，教师要关注任务的难度梯度，和启发引导。
