Brain Storm

T: The cars are vehicles. What other vehicles do you know ? Let’s have a brain storm.

S: bus/ taxi/ metro/ plane/ bike/ jeep/...

T:Wow, so many vehicles. Because of them, people are very easy for outing now. Right?

2.Learn garbage truck

T: Here comes a large vehicle. Let’s listen what’s this? (当卡车出现时,手拿卡车图片,用Tippy的语气自我介绍。)

T:Hello, boys and girls. I’m Tippy. I’m a girl. I’m huge(改词为学习目标,用肢体语言让学生感知该词。)(Learn: huge)

T: Who knows what’s Tippy?

S: She’s a truck.

T: She’s a garbage truck. (Learn: garbage, truck 用已知单词学习拼读未知单词,实现知识的迁移。)

T: Tippy is a garbage truck. What can Tippy do? Let’s watch a movie.

S1/S2/S3: She can take away garbage./ She can make homes clean./ She can help restaurants clean.

T: Yes. Can you take away garbage? Can you make the city clean?

Ss: No.

T: I think Tippy is special, do you think so? (教读special)
