Step1: Revision
① Review the story time
T: Boys and girls, we knew Mike and Su Hai’s parents’ jobs last lesson. Do you still remember it? Let’s go and see, Mike is talking….
PPT: teacher reads
This is Mike’s father, can you help Mike talk about his mother? Who wants to try?
S1: I think my mother is great! She is a writer. She writes stories.
I want to be a writer too. Because I like stories.
T: Well done! What about Su Hai’s father? Who can help her?
S2: I think my father is great! He is a doctor. He helps sick people..
I want to be a doctor too. Because I like helping sick people.
T: Good job! What about Su Hai’s mother?
S3: I think my mother is great! She is a worker. She makes sweets.
I want to be a worker too. Because I like sweets.
【设计意图】:用IPad直接呈现孩子们复习的知识,在复习基础上拓展了两个句型:I want to be …. Because I like….以此提高对知识的理解和运用能力。
