T: She’s Betty. She lives in the US. He’s Billy. He lives in the UK. I live in China. They are far from me. We know each other on the Internet.We usually chat on the Internet and send emails.

Teach: send emails

T: So they’re my e-friends. This lesson our topic is my e-friend.

Step3.Pre-reading

Watch the cartoon and choose.

Q: Who’s Wang Bing’s e-friend?

Step4. While-reading

1. T: Do you want to know about Peter? What do you want to know about him? What questions can you ask?

2. Read the text and fill in Peter’s name card.

3. Answer the questions and check them.
