Step1、 Free talk

(目的：教师用语言让学生放轻松，同时增进师生间互动，融洽课堂氛围)

Step2、 Presentation

1. Play a game:

T: what do they do at weekends?

S: play football/watch TV/... .

2.T: What do you do at weekends?

(小组合作问答，1问，4人答，1人用第三人称汇报)

S: I always ….

S:I usually ...

S:I often ...

S:I sometimes ...

3. Listen

T: What does Mary do at weekends?

S:She always.../usually/often/sometimes ...（讨论4个频率副词使用的区别）

（目的：让学生提前感知always /usually/ often/sometimes为下面的教学环节做铺垫。并借助了思维导图，同时让学生小组讨论4个频率副词的用法，让学生再次理解如何使用这4个频率副词）

Step3、Cartoon time

1. Show the word to them: weekends(引出what/where/who/how等特殊疑问词)

自主先学检测1： Do you have any questions about weekends?

2. Watch the cartoon and answer questions

引出问题：a. Where is Billy at weekends?

b. Who wants to play with Billy at weekends?

3. 自主先学检测2: Read the cartoon and finish the form.
