Enjoy a song about friendship.

Free talk:

T: What’s your hobby? What do you usually do at weekends? What subject do you like? Who’s your friend? Who am I?

T makes a self introduction. T and Ss can get to know each other.

Step Ⅱ Presentation

T: Today, we are going to talk about Our Friends. (Show title.) Do you want to be my friend? I’m so glad to be your friend. First, let’s play a game.

Brain storm.

PPT Shows four topics: hobbies, jobs, subjects, weekend activities. Four Ss in a group choose a topic, thirty seconds to prepare. Then try to say words as many as possible in fifteen seconds.

Know my friends.

T: Let’s meet my friends. Look, the first one is a boy. What do you want to know about him? How can you ask?

Ss try to think and ask some questions. T writes down on the blackboard.

Ss watch T’s friend’s self introduction then answer questions. Work in pairs.

T: Now, let’s meet another friend. She is a girl. But only one student got her information. Four students in a group. Three ask, one answers.

Make information cards

Ss interview their partners, then finish the information card.
