Step1:Warming up

Free talk

T:Welcome back to school,boys and girls.

Did you have a happy winter holiday?

What do you usually do in the winter holiday?

S:I usually…

T:Why?

S:(引导学生说)Because…

(在这里呈现Why?Because…句型是作为渗透,学生能初步了解就可以。)

Play a game:Yeah,yeah,yeah and No,no,no.

I:I know you all do a lot of things in the winter holiday.Let’s play a game,if you do it,you say“Yeah,yeah,yeah”;if you don’t do it,you say“No,no,no”.

PPT呈现不同的图片,用一般疑问句“Do you…”进行提问,最后一个问题呈现“Do you read books in the winter holiday?”然后再追问What books do you read?最后呈现Cinderella这本故事书,教师问Do you read this book?以五年级学生的阅读量他们大多数已经阅读过这本书,所以他们会回答It named Cinderella.

Step2:Pre-reading

通过已有的阅读背景复习这个故事中出现的人物。

T:So many children read this story,so can you tell me who are in the story?

S:Cinderella,prince,fairy…

(在学生说的过程中教师根据学生的掌握情况相机教学prince,fairy,stepmother,stepsisters)

通过已有的阅读背景对故事内容作判断,以检测学生的掌握情况。

T:Good job!And how much do you know about the story,let’s judge !

(PPT出示5道关于文本内容的题,学生根据已有的阅读背景快速作出判断。)

Step3:While-reading

Read and order:快速阅读,将下列故事片段进行排序。
