教学过程:

Step1 Pre-task Preparation

Say hello to foreign teacher, Rosie.

T: Look, this is my new friend, Rosie. She lives in London. She’s our new English teacher. She likes singing and dancing.

Sing the song “Rabbit dance” and dance.

(设计意图:只有营造出民主的教学氛围,和谐的师生关系,宽松的环境,开放的活动空间和创新的激情,才能使学生在积极向上的气氛中学习英语。通过边唱边跳的活动,营造轻松和谐的课堂氛围,并引出新知left,right和 turn,激发了学生的学习兴趣,也为之后的学习作铺垫,而帮助外教Rosie也将成为本节课的主线。)

Step2 While-task Procedure

呈现预习的内容: How to ask the way?和 How to tell the way?

Let’s ask.

T: Rosie wants to go to our school, but she doesn’t know the way. What can she do?

Ss: Ask the way.

Present the topic: Asking the way.

T: Who can she ask for help?

Ss: A policeman.

T: But how to ask? Before asking the way, what should we say to be polite?

Ss: Excuse me.

T: Provide some key words: Where? Is there? How? Can?

S1: Where is the school?

S2: Is there a school near here?

S3: How can/ do I get to school?

S4: Can you tell/ show me the way to …?

T: Rosie wants to go to the zoo/ cinema/ hospital, too. How can she ask the way?

Ss: Practice the structures for asking the way.

(设计意图:英语教学离不开语段教学,但是语段教学又离不开文本再构。通过文本再构创设情境,帮助学生理解和记忆新知,并自然而然地引出本课主题—问路,同时利用网络搜索的预习方式将问路的句型加以拓展。)
