Teaching procedures 教学过程

Step 1 Read and classify

T: Who’re ill in story time? What’s wrong with them?

S: … (引导学生答headache和toothache)

T: They can't go to school. They should go to see the doctor and get some checks.

Who can spell check?

T:Let's compare, what sound of ch in headache,toothache and school? What sound of ch in

check?(引导学生自己说出/k/和/ t?/的发音)

【设计意图:】让学生通过读单词自己发现这两组单词中字母组合ch的发音是否相同,分别发什么音,最后再给出四个单词让学生找出其中发音不同的那个单词,进行复习巩固。

Step 2 Revision

Do a puzzle

T: Let’s review some words. Please find out and circle .

(分组PK,完成后请学生拼读)

2. Think and say

T:There is a new word in puzzle one, it's patient, it means sick people. Please describe Su Hai and Mike's illnesses with these words.

There is a word in puzzle two, it's doctor, you can say some sentences with these words.

Let's continue to PK.

【设计意图:】由两个puzzle引出第四单元有关病情和建议的复习,先以圈拼单词的方式帮助学生对本单元单词进行复习,再由puzzle中的单词patient和doctor分别描述病情和建议,使学生认知更加清晰,有效。

1. Talk about illness.

T: Let’s summary. If you wan to talk about illness, how to ask? How to answer?

(学生总结,师呈现you,him,her,them,提醒学生with后面加宾格)
