五、学情分析:
五年级学生在本册教材的1-4单元主要学习了童话故事Cinderella、问路指路、谈论疾病等话题,能够熟练输出交通工具、公共场所类单词,能够熟练运用句型Why …? Because …表述原因,能够熟练运用情态动词should/shouldn’t给出建议,拥有一定的生活常识和判断力,能够清晰表述自己的观点。本课立足于学生的基础,引导其充分发挥自己的想象力,读懂故事,习得知识。

Step 1 Warm up & Revision
1. Enjoy a song: City road
2. Let’s think and talk about city.
(1) Talk about public transport and get Ss to be aware of the traffic.
Q1: How is the city road?(It’s busy/crowded/ ... There are ...)
Q2: What should we do?(We should/ shouldn’t ...)
(2) Listen to the advice from the policeman and fill in the blanks.
T: Now let’s listen to the policeman and try to fill in the blanks.
