1. 1. 听录音前半段，回答问题：

了解Mike is talking about …(family, housework)
学习Helping parents，板书课题。
2. 看动画，连线：
What’s Helen/ Mike doing?
交流后读一读：
（1）Helen is helping her parents.
She is sweeping the floor in the morning.
She is washing the dishes in the afternoon.

3. 学习阅读技巧：
（1）提问能力：Can you ask some questions about them?（出示其他家人照片）
（2）抓关键词：带着这些问题自读，圈画，找答案。学习：Tip: 阅读时，可以自己提问并找找课文的关键词和重点句子，从而读懂课文。
