Step1 Warming up

Sing a song 《What are you doing?》

Step2 Review time .

1. Look and complete: What are Helen and Mike doing? They are helping their parents.

2. Match and say : What is Helen doing? She is ….

What is Mike doing? He is...

Step3 Grammar time

T: You can ask good questions and answer them correctly. Look, can you find the structures of these sentences.

Ss: Try to find.

T: What+be+主语+doing? 主语+be+动词ing. (板书)

The tense of these is the present continuous tense. We use the present continuous tense to talk about things that are happening now.

Step 4 Fun time

T: Well. We know my son helps me do housework. Mike and Helen help their parents. Do you help your parents at home?

Ss: Yes.
