Step 1 Warm up
1. Introduce
T: Hello,boys and girls. Look, this is me.
My English name is Sandy. I like reading and singing. I often do some homework at home at the weekends. Ask: What do you often do at the weekends?
Ask the student to stand and answer. ,then do the action.(边说边做,导入现在进行时句型:What is he /she doing now?)
2. Play the game about us:
Rules: If you think it is true(对), say‘Yeah, Yeah, Yeah’
If you think it is false(错) say ‘No , No, No’
Sentences:I’m teaching you Maths .
I’m washing the dishes
You are watching TV.
I’m from Jianhu.
You’re from Hong Kong.
I’m a Chinese teacher.
You all like English.
You are doing housework.
Step 2 Song time
Lead in : You are not doing housework. Who is doing housework .Let’s enjoy a song.
Watch and answer Who is doing housework ?
3、Show the pictures.. Then let students learn ‘put the kettle on ‘and ‘take it off.’ .
(边让学生词和短语,边让学生做出拿上水壶和放下它的动作,体会一下这两个短语的含义。)
4、. Listen to the song ,learn to sing the song one by one. Explain :They ‘ve all gone away.
