Step1.Warming up&Revision
1. listen and say “ What are you doing?”
一首欢快的歌谣,迅速把孩子们带入到英语课堂中,并且复习本单元的重点句型。
2. play a game
选择三个数字代表的词语,运用现在进行时说句子。
3. Free talk
Boys and girls,we know Mike’s parents are very busy on Saturday. So Mike and Helen help them. What are they doing?
Can you help your parents at home? What housework can you do?
Step 2 Look and say (Check out)
You are helpful. What about these children? What are they doing?

PPT呈现六组图片(图片为课本 56页checkout time ),使用句型“What’s…doing? He’s/She’s…”和同桌做对话。
Step3 .Enjoy a poem
1. Look at these pictures, what’s the girl doing? Let’s listen and choose.
2. Try to read new words“growing, blowing”
3. Try to read new sentences“Let’s watch the flowers growing./ Listen to the wind blowing”
(利用学生学过的单词know, yellow,过渡到grow, blow,再到句子。逐步感受,层层推进.)
4. Listen and repeat
通过听 逐句跟读 跟读 齐读 学生展示读四步让学生会读歌谣。
5. PPT出示单词“morning,sing,growing,evening, blowing”,让学生体会“ing”的发音。
6.比一比,让学生说出更多含有“ing”的词语
Step 5 Checkout time ( listen and number)
In the daytime, the children always help their parents do housework. But in the evening, they usually relax themselves. What are they doing? Let’s listen and number.
(此项活动不仅是听后排序,而是在汇报的时候要使用现在进行时的句型说出图中人物在哪里,在做什么。这样就加深了难度,听力和口语齐头并进。)

1.Watch the cartoon and answer the question
