Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing a song.
2. T: What’s in the picture?(歌曲截图)
→tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, beans
→vegetables (教授)
情感教育:Vegetables are good for us. We should eat them more.
设计意图:首先利用已经学过的歌曲At the market导入本课,由于歌曲里面的potato, tomato, carrot和bean正是本课词汇的一部分,以旧代新,学生容易接受。在播放歌曲的过程中,利用白板的照相机功能直接从歌曲中截图,再利用截图复习词汇,引出vegetable。
3. T: Where can we see them? (At the market.)
T: Any other places? (In the kitchen.) (提示:Are there any vegetables in your house?)
→引出课题Today we will learn Unit 6 In the kitchen
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. (出示厨房图片)This is a kitchen. What’s in the kitchen? Can you guess?
Please use the sentence: Is / Are there … in the kitchen? (投影出示句型,利用白板的神奇墨水工具。)
T: Let’s look for it / them. (教授look for, 并帮助学生正确区分look for和find。)
设计意图:该环节是为了操练there be结构的一般疑问句,首先利用白板神奇墨水的功能,给学生10秒钟时间记忆厨房里面的东西,再以鼓励和比赛的方式让学生来说一说。
2. T: There are so many things in the kitchen. Can we eat them now? (No.) Yes, we should cook them. Can you cook? (No.) But I can. I like cooking. I can cook many kinds of food. Look! 投影出示各种菜肴,并介绍:I can cook eggs. I can cook beans. I can cook fish. I can cook tomato soup. I can cook meat with potatoes. (在介绍过程中教授tomato soup和meat with potatoes.)
3. T: Do they look nice? (Yes.) I think they smell nice too. (教授smell)
