Step1:Warming up
1. The teacher shows a picture of LiuTao, and the students guess what is LiuTao doing with “Is he doing?” 【设计意图:在情境中初步感知利用一般疑问句型进行提问,为下一个游戏活动做铺垫。】
Game time
There are three scenes--- in the classroom, in the playground, at home. One students comes to the front and do an action in the scene, the other students guess “Are you ...?” 【设计意图:利用现在进行时进行口语交际,提高对现在进行时一般疑问句的理解和应用能力。】

Read the new words on the PPT.
Good memory
There is a fridge with many kinds of food in it. It will disappear after ten seconds. Then the teacher asks“Is/Are there any....in the fridge?”. The students answers with their memory.

Task1: watch and answer
What time is it now?
Where are LiuTao and his parents?

Task2: read and find
Skim part1,and underline the answer to this question“What are they cooking in the kitchen?”
Explain: 1)Show some pictures of meat, potato, meat with potatoes,...let students enjoy and think about.2) LiuTao is looking for some juice. Look for(A.寻找B.找到)
Task3: Scan and answer
How is the food? Skim part3 and find the expressions LiuTao use to comment the food.
Task 4: Listen, repeat and read in different ways.

Parents do so much for us, we can do a lot of things for them. Think about, what can you do? The students talk about this topic in group and show to us.
