1.Task 1:
Go through chapter1-5 quickly and answer the questions:
How many main characters are there in chapter 1-5?

2. Task 2: Mark T(True)or F(False).
3. Task 3: Finish the Plot Diagram.
4. Task 4: Listen to the text in chapter4,read and play roles.
5. Task 5: Read carefully and fill in the blanks.
6. Task 6: Read the text and choose the correct answers.
Step 4: Post-reading
1. Task 7 Find out the main idea of each chapter and retell the story.

Act out your favorite part.

The Fisherman and His Soul is an outside reading material.It’s the first time that the students get in touch with it,so it’s a big challenge for them. In this class, the story retelling part is a little difficult for them to finish.It will be better if I reduce the difficulty of this part or change it into another task.
