2.学生能了解序数词的用法及构成

3.学生能正确读出序数词的读音和字母组合th在单词中的读音。

(1) What day is it today?

What date is it today? (the twenty-fourth of May)

(2) Lead in

T: Oh, what festival is coming soon ? (Children’s Day )

Step 2. Presentation

1. T: When’s Children’s Day? What do you do on Children’s Day?

Show and read: on the first of June

S:Ｉhave a party／sing songs／eat nice food／play some games．．．

Ｔ：When’s Christmas/ Halloween?

2. Read the words./Say the ordinal numbers.

Read the dates/总结日期的表达 the+序数词+of+月份

Say the dates: 5月11日/ 9月8日/ 1月3日
