学生刚学完5-8单元的知识,还未能形成完整的知识体系,且学生对前面知识点已有一定的遗忘,需要对5-8单元的重难点知识进行综合复习。同时考虑到五年级学生自我意识开始增强,对于同学或者老师的评价更为在乎,主动参与课堂学习的积极性较低年级学生有很大程度下降。基于以上几点,本课设计了多项小组合作活动,以促进学生主动参与学习活动的积极性,让学生在互动交往中自主建构完整的知识体系。

四、教学重难点:

教学重点:

复习 Unit5-8重点词句,能够在情境中熟练运用所学句型进行“Birthday”和“Festival”的话题表述。

教学难点:

能够综合运用语言进行“My important days”的话题交流,并写成短文。

五、教学准备

多媒体课件,节日照片,板书字帖等。

六、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.Free talk

How many months are there in a year?

What day is today?

What’s the date today?

Is it an important day for you? ( learn important 重要的 )

T: I believe that you all have important days, so let’s talk out important days today.

2. Present the learning aims

【设计意图】: 师生交流,为后面的综合实践活动做一定的语言积累,引入与本课相关的复习主题;揭题并呈现学习目标,让学生明确本课学习任务,由学习目标有效引导学生进行小组合作学习与探究。

Step2. Presentation

T: There is a secret person today and she will talk about her important days with us. But who is she? You have to finish three tasks and get three clues so that you can find out who she is. (That is the teacher herself.)

Now please listen carefully, try to find what is the first task.

【设计意图】创设情境,神秘人物会来和我们一起谈论“Important days“,要想了解这位神秘人物需要完成三项任务来寻找线索。情境式的探究有效激发了学生的学习兴趣,并将“Birthday”"Festivals"和“Important days”三个话题自然的联系起来。

Task 1: Birthdays

播放神秘人物录音。Secret person: Hello, everyone! I’m the secret person today. My birthday is on the12th of June. I usually have a party on my birthday. Tell me your birthday and what you usually do on your birthday, then you can get a puzzle of my picture.

T: So boys and girls, first task is about birthdays. (ask one student) When’s your birthday?

S1: My birthday is on the… of ….

T: What do you usually do on your birthday?

S: I usually … on my birthday. T can conclude like: …’s birthday is on the … of…. He/ She usually …. (so that T sets example for Ss).

【设计意图】教师先询问一位学生的生日情况、板书重要信息并做总结,为接下来学生自主调查组内同学的生日情况、记录并汇报做了示范。
