五、教学过程:
Step 1. Warming up
1.T: Do you know the song?
S: Where is time going?
T: Yes, time flies quickly. We are growing up, and the things around us are changing.
Step2. Before reading
Show the photo of Mike.
T: Who’s he? Can you say sth about Mike?
Yes, Mike is a school boy, He can do many things. Guess, What can he do? Or What else can he do?
Show the photo of Mike six years ago.
Mike can do many things, but six years ago, he was a little boy, What could he do? What couldn’t he do? Can you guess?
Step3. Whole reading
1. T: Perfect. I like your ideas. Now I’ll show you Mike’s family. Do you know them? Who is he/ she? ( Mike, Mr Brown, Mrs Brown, Mike’s grandpa)
2. T: Let’s look at the pictures, and say the changes of them.
S: Say sth about the pictures (根据学生的描述贴板书,相机教学新词汇: telephone, mobile phone,radio)
Listen to the tape , check the phrases and match.
According to the blackboard, compare the phrases, lead into the topic-- Then and now
Read the story time, and find out other information
Teach : anywhere, from all over the world
总结:In fact, everyone is changing everyday( the changes of people), What they look like is changing(appearance) , and what they can do is changing, too(ability).
