设计理念:英语教学的目的在于促进学生学习,教学实践的根本目的是要逐步确立和发展学生在学习过程中的主体地位,学生是言语活动的主体,也是言语能力发展的主体。本课时的教学设计理念为“以学生为本”,以学定教,少教多学,把课堂还给学生,教师在课堂中仅仅担当引路人的角色,真正提高课堂40分钟的学习效率。
设计思路:本单元的主题为Signs教师选择了Cartoon time & Culture time.为第一课时进行教授,由于学生经过了第一课时的学习,已经拥有了一定的词汇量,所以该课时中的学习内容对学生来说,并没有太大的难度,教师根据学生的实际学习水平,适当提高了对学生的学习要求。在设计整个教学思路的过程中,秉承由易到难的原则,将新词放在句型中教授,做到在说中学、说中练。其中,穿插了不少的表演环节,鼓励学生多看、多听、多思考,在课堂里尽情地说,大胆地表现自己。最后,教师带着学生们跳出了课文原有的框架,自己设计public signs’ proposal,新旧知识滚动复习,从而帮助学生输出更多的语言信息,全面提高语言综合运用能力。
教学过程:
Step1: Warm up
Enjoy a song “The public signs in the park”
T: Before class, we enjoyed a song, what’s the song about? (Signs)Yes, last lesson we learn “signs”, today we will go and do the evaluation.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Sing and find
What signs are there in the park?
What signs do you know?
What does it mean?
It means:You can’t walk on the grass. You can’t litter here.

Does Bobby have a good lunch? (No, he doesn’t.)
After the Ss know the answers, guide the Ss to think and read the text. “Why didn’t Bobby have a good lunch?”

Play the tape, ask the Ss to read after it. Learn “walk on, sweet, around them”
