Ⅰ. Lead-in
T plays the recording of bird sound and then shows Ss the pictures of Jack
and Jill. T plays the song and Ss sing it.
T introduces the key sentence structures ‘What makes ... dirty?’ and ‘What
can we do to keep ... clean?’.
Ⅱ. Presentation
T mentions that Jack and Jill want to find some clean places and then
introduces the four pictures from Checkout time. Then Ss use the key
sentences to describe them to their partners.
4. Jack and Jill come back, and ask Ss to tell more people to keep different
places clean.
Ⅲ. Production
5. Ss choose one picture to write a speech on the topic ‘Keep ... clean’.
6. Ss write and T observes.
7. T selects some writings to correct and mentions the major mistakes.
Meanwhile, Ss tell the good & bad sides of the writings.
