T: Now our living environment is polluted, so we should protect the Earth.——出示课题并教读。We should make the Earth a better place for you and me, and the entire human race.
Step2. Pre-reading
1.出示无污染的地球图片。
T：Look, the Earth is a beautiful place. There are many kinds of sources in it. Do you know some of them? ( water, trees, air etc.)
2.Guessing game
T: Here are another sources. Let’s guess what they are.
①?It’s black and hard. We can find it under the ground. It can make us warm. There’s a lot of it in Shanxi. ( coal )
②?It’s a black liquid. We can find it under the ground too. Cars need it. ( oil )
③?It’s usually white and thin. We can write and draw on it. ( paper )

T：Look at this picture. Is it still beautiful? Today, there is a lot of pollution. We should protect the Earth at once. (点题) What can we do?
