Step 1: Lead in:
Watch and say.
T: In this unit, we have learned about how to protect the earth. Now let’s watch a short video.
(教师播放reuse things institute广告)
Teacher ask: What can you see in the video?
(老师PPT展示广告中图片,引导学生说出:Plastic bottle 、plastic building roof、plastic fence 、plastic rubbish bin)
T:This is an advertisement of one American website. It tells us an important thing, What’s it?
Ss: Reuse! (教师板书本课中心词“reuse”在黑板上)
Quick response.
T: What can we reuse? Lead to : We can reuse everything around us.
(学生快速反映,教师闪现一些再利用的物品原始图片,学生进行思考讨论)
Step 2: Presentation.
1.Write and answer.
T: There are many things around us . What can we reuse them to do?
(学生拿出worksheet,完成reuse思维导图并表达We can reuse…to make a …)
T:That’s true. But easier said than done, let’s do it.
2.Watch and match.
Let’s waatch and see what wee can reuse them to do.
(教师播放视频学生观看并完成连线,塑料瓶、金属、衣服、纸盒、牙刷等可以如何再利用)
3.Make and say.
1)Think and discuss:
Teacher show more pictures to inspire the creation of students.
Ss take out the material and tools, discuss in groups :
What do you bring? Can we reuse them? How?
(学生小组讨论各自所带物品如何再利用,交流并简要表达制作步骤,提出更多再利用方式)
2)Imitate and think out:
Teacher set an example about reuse. Write down some key step words, Ss follow to show their works in class.
