Teaching procedures 教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1. Watch a video(感受中国春节的氛围)

T: What festival does it talk about?

S: It talks about Chinese New Year. (揭题)

2. Free talk

T: Can you say a few words about Chinese New Year?

S: Fireworks, present, red packets, new clothes …

T: Good. Let’s read together. (复习四个单词)

T: What are you going to do this Chinese New Year?

S1: I’m going to …

T: (转问其他学生) What is he/ she going to do this Chinese New Year?

S2: He/ She is going to …

【设计意图:通过开放式的问答,激活学生的思维,也检测了学生对新单词的掌握程度。再通过自由交谈活动,了解学生对春节计划的英文表达情况,为下文讲解铺垫。】

3. Review the story

T: (用PPT呈现Anna照片) Do you remember Anna? Last class, we talked about Anna’s plan for Chinese New Year.

T: (用PPT呈现图片和关键词) What is Anna going to do before Chinese New Year?

S1: She is going to buy some new clothes and food with her family. They are going to make some cakes and tangyuan. (教师用PPT呈现Anna is going to …)

T: Good. On Chinese New Year’s Eve, what is Anna going to do?

S2: She is going to have a big dinner with her family. Then they’re going to buy some flowers.

T: Right! What is Anna going to do on Chinese New Year’s Day?

S: On Chinese New Year’s Day, Anna is going to get red packets from her parents. Then she’s going to watch a lion dance in the afternoon.

T: What is Anna going to do after Chinese New Year’s Day?

S: She is going to watch fireworks in the evening.
