通过思考废旧物品的特性来完成任务。通过与他人交流来明白哪些物品可以用来回收或再使用，通过看图片知道reduce的含义并会使用，通过制作海报，创编歌曲，制作标语牌等学会与他人合作并增强环保意识。
教学重点及难点
教学重点：学生能够朗读跟回收利用有关的单词，如plastic,paper...等，同时能够使用语言I can reuse it to make ____.I can recycle.... We should/shouldn’t....来发表自己的观点。
教学难点：如何运用多种方式启发学生利用所学语言 进行交流发表自己的观点。

教学步骤：
Warming up
Sing a song.And the teacher asks students how do they feel after the song .And the teacher express she is thirsty ,she wants to drink some water.And invites one volunteer to throw the bottle.At same time the teacher asks the class check which bin we should choose.(设计意图：利用一个瓶子进行导课，贴近生活，同时让学生帮忙选择该扔进那个垃圾桶引出recyclable和not recyclable.使学生能够回忆recycle这个单词的含义。）
Ask students what we can reuse the water bottle to make.(设计意图：通过这个活动，使学生打开思维，培养学生的思维能力。）
II Presentation
A task for the class:Think：What can reuse and recycle ?Discuss with your
partner.
Talk about what we can reuse and recycle.
Distinguish the difference between recycle and reuse.
Reuse:use again.
Recycle:Use again by processing.(Watching a video to help the class to understand.)
Look at some pictures to know more about recycle and reuse.

Talk about reduce.Think：What can we reduce.(设计意图：世界环保所提出的3R应该让每位学生都了解，因此在这里对reduce进行拓展，进一步引发学生的思考。）
T:Why do we reduce ,reuse,recycle ? Lead them to talk the environmental protecting.Then give the conclusion:Save the earth.
Show the class the earth day :April.22nd.（不仅要学习英语还要知道与所学内容相关的其他知识，增强自己的见识。）
