Step 1 . warm-up
Review the Present Continuous Tense using some pictures.
Step 2:Lead-in
T: What are we doing now?
Ss: We are having an English class.
T: What were you doing at this time yesterday?
S1: I was having a math class.
Step 3 Presentation :
1. Present the form of the Past Continuous Tense: were/was + v.ing
2. Look at the pictures. Then make up conversations in pairs.
3. Present the interrogative form of the Past Continuous Tense.
4. Guess the actions by asking-and-answering.
