三、教学重点、难点
重点：1.定语从句中关系代词及关系副词的正确使用。
2.利用Reading Strategies（deal with difficult words）来处理阅读中遇到的生词
3.根据提示按要求写出介绍景点的brochure 难点：学生理解并掌握brochure的写作步骤，并能根据提示完整地写出来
四、教学过程设计
Step1. Warm up.
A speech in front of the class by a student
Step2. Leading in
Show Ss some pictures about extreme sports, lead to the title of Unit8 Adventure.
Step3. Have a discussion to review the lessons in this unit.
The teacher asks “What’s your favorite lesson in this unit? Why?”, and let the students discuss, then ask some of them to give a report.
Step4. Review the important words, phrases.
The teacher put some important words and phrases on the screen (in Chinese or English), make students read out them as soon as possible, then do some exercises about vocabulary.
Step5. Review the grammars
Students think over the grammars (State or activity verbs, Defining and non-defining clauses) in this unit, then the teacher makes a summary about the usages briefly and do some exercises
Step6. Students review the Reading Strategies（deal with difficult words）in this unit.
Step7. Explain the tips about how to write a brochure.
Step8. Introspection.
Ss think about the questions to introspect their learning.
