To develop students’ ability to put the key words and phrases into practice.

Students may have difficulty in retelling paragraphs with the words, phrases and sentence patterns.

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1: Lead-in
T asks Ss quick questions in order to remind the students of what each lesson is about.
Step 2: Word & Phrase Revision of Lesson 1
T checks words and phrases on students’ handouts.
T helps review key words and their variants as well as phrases in Lesson 1.
Step 3: Retelling paragraphs
Ss fill in the blanks with phrases they’ve reviewed, and retell paragraphs with the help of a mind map on the blackboard. Ss are supposed to speak as much as possible.

Step 4:Reviewing language points
T explains the key points in detail with examples and exercises.
Step 5: Word & Phrase Revision of Lesson 2 &Exercises
T checks words and phrases on students’ handouts.
T helps review key words and their variants as well as phrases in Lesson 2.
Ss finish exercises on their hand-outs. T corrects their answers when necessary.
