选修七《Unit 19 Language Bulletin Board 》优秀教案

为此,本节课教学设计将北师大版选修七Unit 19单元教材的Lesson1和Bulletin Board内容进行整合改编,巧妙地层层推进,由浅入深地引导学生完成本节课学习。教学环节一,教师缩写Lesson 1 前四个自然段,再对缩写部分进行挖空,通过听力填空引导学生进入本节课;教学环节二,Lesson1 剩余自然段涉及的学习策略推荐,课前已在导学案中要求各小组通过合作设计一份思维导图,小组每一位同学都要能够在这张思维导图辅助下对课文提出的英语学习策略进行口头介绍;教学环节三,要求各小组发挥集体智慧利用准备好的笔记本电脑,设计一张有关英语学习策略电子海报,以此激发创新思维和提升非连续文本阅读能力;教学环节四,对语言学习主题进行拓展,总所周知,语言学习app琳琅满目,而教育部2018年年底发布关于禁止有害App进入校园的文件,通过阅读相关报道,引导学生讨论禁令原因,培养他们的批判性思维;结束环节,巧妙设计一份“新闻发布会”家庭作业,将本单元的学习任务输出部分推向高潮,切实提高学生的英语学习能力。

本校属农村高中,面对新高考,如何将最新的《课标》理念运用得到英语教学中值得深思。虽然这届学生依然运用就的高考模式,但是英语核心素养的培养却不能因此没有跟上。只有与时俱进,才能切实提高农村高中课堂教学的有效性,切实提高学生的英语学习能力。因此,面对使用十几年的北师大版英语教材,本课遵循英语语言的本质,运用听力填空和思维导图等大量教学研究成果,结合校情和班情,通过5个环节完成本课学习,旨在成功地完成本单元的教学目标。以期对教材中Bulletin Board设计和阅读教学提供一定的借鉴。

2)指导依据说明

本课的设计指导依据一是《普通高中英语课程标准》(2017年版)中提出的实践英语学习活动观,着力提高学生学用能力,通过设计具有综合性、关联性和实践性特点的英语学习活动,使学生通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等一些列活动,发展多元思维和批判性思维,提高英语学习能力和运用能力。

二是重视现代信息技术应用,丰富英语课程学习资源。传统的灌输式教学早已经无法适应新课程改革的需要,更是无法吸引学生的注意力,最终导致的课堂效率低下,无法完成既定的教学目标。因此,普通高中英语课程应重视现代信息技术背景下教学模式和学习方式的变革,充分利用信息技术,促进信息技术与课程教学的深度融合。一方面,现在青年学生信息技术学习能力强,另一方面,信息技术融合能够有效提升课堂效率。所以,根据信息化环境下英语学习的特点,通过线上线下混合式教学,既能丰富课程资源,又能拓展学生的学习渠道,提高学习效率。本课程就是基于该理念,在实践新课程中,营造信息化教学环境,不但能及时了解和跟进科技的进步和学科的发展,又充分发挥现代教育技术对教与学的支持和服务功能。

三是图式理论,该理论研究学习者有机地组织新事物与他们已有知识和经历的表征形式。思维导图是用图导出人们用已有知识表征新知识的过程。这也是英语教研组周巧玲老师基于思维导图的高中英语阅读教学设计应用研究课题成果的延伸实践。 2.Teaching Background Analysis Teaching material analysis

This period is adapted from Lesson 1 of Unit 19 and Bulletin Board (Module 7 Language): Get ahead with your English and English Learning Strategies. The topic is familiar to students. Besides, the speed of the tape for the passage is suitable to be changed into a monologue for students to finish the gap-filling.

Student analysis

Students are quite familiar with the topic of language, knowing the teaching procedures and strategies to some extent, so they might not feel anxious while having the lesson. Students have a great talent for mind-map drawing. Besides, students are quite good at using computer and IT to help with their studies. However, to the students, they are still reluctant to express themselves, which results in students’ different acquisition rates. Therefore, it is of great importance to create a platform for students to help students out in English learning efficiency. 3. Teaching goals To listen and comprehend and fill in the gaps of the adapted passage

To use the mind-map designed before class to air English learning strategies

To use computer to design a e-poster on Bulletin Board to introduce English learning strategies

To further comprehend two pieces of news on the ban on harmful apps on campus

To organize a press conference in groups and play it out 4. Teaching emphasis To learn to figure out the key words while listening

To express oneself with the help of a mind-map

To design an attractive and informative poster

To develop critical thinking ability

The poster design might be difficult for some groups, let alone stand in front of the class and present their concepts of their designs. Therefore, instructions beforehand is necessary. As for press conference, it is by no means easy to play it out, so more help might be given after class if necessary. And the multimedia and Internet is a great help to some extent, while the teacher and students cooperate with each other. 5.Teaching Procedure Step One Gap-filling (9 minutes)

Ask students to listen and fill in the gaps according to what you have heard. The passage is adapted from the first four paragraphs of lesson 1 (Unit 19).

Students work in groups upload the answers onto the platform online to check the answers and get the marks. One student is chosen to put his/her answer onto the blackboard.
