Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Revision
Review some writing skills of the last lesson.
Guide Ss to review the knowledge they learnt previously and get them ready for the new lesson.
Step2 Lead-in
1. Show a table demonstrating how well they’ve done in this part for the past few tests and make an analysis.
2. Explain the scoring criteria for the writing part and point out the difference between present examination outline and that of last year.
Step 3 Presentation and practice
1. Present some good compositions of NMET and draw a conclusion about the characteristics of good composition.
2. Demonstrate the ways to get good marks in tests.
