高三学生经过了两年多的英语学习和做题练习,词汇和做题技能上都有了教大的改善,在此基础上对于英语阅读考试试题概括大意加以总结概括,进一步强化学生的概括能力和应试技巧,同时也从欣赏,积累语言知识的角度从根本上提高学生的英语整体能力。
教学过程
Step1
Read a poem Results and Roses by Edgar Albert Guest altogether to cheer up and meanwhile encourage students to work hard.
Step 2
Introduce the four kinds of questions in reading comprehension.
Introduce the four aspects concerning questions of main idea.
Introduce the three steps to find out the main idea of a passage.
Step 3
Find out the topic sentences of passage A---D in five minutes and discuss with group members about the structures of the passages.
Conclude the connection between the topic sentence and the structure.
Some tips for helping find the topic sentence.
Step 4
Choose the best answer of passage E in five minutes, and share with each other how you find the answer.
Discuss with group members about how a good title should be.
Summarise the characteristics of a good title .
Step 5
Time for quiz and appreciation.
Choose the best answer of passage F as fast as you can and pick out the beautiful sentences in the passage.
Step 6
Review what we have learnt today.
