Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty 教学重点和难点
教学重点:
1. 能理解并体会特殊疑问句所用的语调,能和一般疑问句升调区分,并正确地读出来。
2. 能理解Cartoon time部分的意思,并能配合此部分内容进行表达。
教学难点:
1. 在前两课时的基础上使用动词和副词将Cartoon time故事的主要内容表达出来。
Teaching procedures 教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk & Review
Greetings.
Daily report: Ss act the lion and the mouse.
Free talk:
T: The lion and the mouse are our animal friends.
Where did the lion live?
Who’s his friend?
What happened?
How did the mouse help the lion?
(出示五个问题,学生进行回答)
T: Look at the red words. What are they? We call them Wh-questions. Can you say more words about Wh-questions?
( when, which, how many, how much …
T: How to ask the questions? Do we use the rising tone or the falling tone?
( We often use the falling tone to read the Wh-questions.
Step 2 Intonation
Let’s listen and read.
T: Look at these questions. How do they ask them? Please listen.

2. Let’s read in pairs.
3. Practice a new dialogue with different intonation.
