三、教学目标:
学识目标:1. 认知词汇,识记词汇;
2. 合作设计主题公园并做介绍。
能力目标:1. 学生学会合作;
2. 培养主人翁意识。
四、教学重点:1. 认知大部分词汇;2. 设计并介绍主题公园。
五、教学难点:1. 如何让学生尽可能多地认会单词;
2. 围绕单元主题进行写作。
六、教学策略:高三第一轮复习,词汇是基础是重点,但复习词汇只是手段,运用词汇才是目标,所以这节课通过多方式多复现激发学生识记单词,然后运用它们。首先,呈现整个单元的词汇共48个,两人活动,一生说英文,一生讲词义,然后全班核对。接着,选出10个重点的难的单词进行读游戏,先是10个单词,先后隐去部分单词,学生凭记忆仍能按顺序朗读出来,然后,那10个单词出现在一段话中,让学生过目后,隐去单词,学生还能顺利地读出那段话,让学生根据上下文来复现词汇。然后,四人小组就那48个单词串成合理的短语表达,让学生把相关的词放在一起,便于记忆。有了这些词汇的熟悉,四人小组运用所学的词汇合作设计一个主题公园,并形成书面表达,每人负责写一方面的内容,也就是一段,最后负责人上台介绍本组设计的主题公园。
七、教学过程
Step 1 Presentation
Tell the students the study goals of this period.
We’ll go over Unit5 Theme Parks in Book 4, especially words. Therefore, we’ll learn words first and use them to design a theme park in Qinzhou and introduce to the public.
Talk about what is a theme park with 3 kinds of pictures involved with entertainment, experience and learning.
Theme parks are entertainment places where visitors will have activities to do and things to see and learn.
Step 2 Learning words
Present all the words in the unit and get the students to understand them by telling the Chinese meanings in pairs.
Read aloud words in a game with words missing one by one.
Complete reading a passage with the words above missing.
Students match at least two words together in a group of four, making new reasonable expressions. And the teacher shows their expressions and make comments.
Collect some of the expressions for their writing.
Step 3 Design and introduction
Assign the students to design a theme park in a group of four and their tasks, one for the part introducing the name, location and theme of their park, one for the part introducing activities the park offers, one for purposes of the park and the fourth to introduce their park to the public.
