III.Teaching procedure

Step I. Greeting and revision

To revise the main idea of Reading I the main idea of each paragraph

Step II Learn words and expressions by pictures

To enable the students to get familiar to the cloning procedure and get familiar to the words: egg cell; nucleus; a somatic cell;embryo; carrier

Step III Learn words and expressions by reciting beautiful sentences(teaching activities: group competition and individual)

To get students to translate and recite some long and important difficult sentences so that the students can master the words and phrases: pay off; breakthrough; sb be forbidden to do sth; raise a storm of objections; have a great impact on; opens everybody’s eyes to the possiblity of doing sth.

Step IV; Learn words and expressions by the English meaning(teaching activities: group competition).

To ask the students to replace the underlined parts with words that have the same meaning.(If one knows, his group will one point) so that students can have a good command of the words: straightforward; arbitrary;commercial;made an objection to; obtain and forbid.

Step V Learn how to use some important words and expression in Reading I. ask the students to do some exercises,observe the sentence and make a summary of the usage.) (teaching activities:individual)
