Ⅰteaching material
The content of this lesson is from Module6 Unit1. This lesson is the fifth part, task, which plays a key role in this unit. By studying this lesson, students will learn how to answer an e-mail to a foreign friend.
Ⅱthe Ss
Most senior students are able to use some basic English, and they have already know something about crosstalk. However, they still need to learn many expressions about answering an e-mail and practice writing an e-mail.
Ⅲ teaching aims
According to New Curriculum Standards, I set 3 teaching aims.
First, knowledge objects
Ss will learn about the information about crosstalk.
Second, ability objects
First, develop students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Second, Students can express their own opinions and main information about crosstalk.
Third, Emotion objects
Ss can develop their teamwork spirit and be confident in speaking English. Besides, they will realize the importance of China culture and value their life they ‘re living now.
Ⅳ key and difficult points
In this period, the key points are to learn how to answer an e-mail logically. While the difficult points are to improve their listening and writing skills,.
Ⅴ teaching methods
For achieving my teaching aims, I adopt 3 teaching methods.
They are communicative approach, task-based teaching method and ss-centered teaching method.
