To a senior 2 student, what is the most important thing in senior 2?
Some suggestions on h ow to get A in Jiangsu high school graduation and academic performance examination of minor subjects.(学业水平测试考试) and decide which one of them is most important; which one is rather important and which one is least important. Why?
1. You need to pay attention to what the teacher said in class, and review the knowledge based on the te xtbooks.
2. I want you to do some exercises related and analyze the answers until you understand them completely.
3. You would like to fix on the rest and have a healthy diet.
Step2: Skills building 1---recognizing what is important
When we are asked to do something, it is important to recognize what is the most important part in the task. Here are some of the words we should listen for:
1. I need… (most important)
2. I want… (rather important)
3. I would like… (least important)
Step3: Answering questions
1. Listen to Bill’s message with que stions about Chinese crosstalk and take notes on what he wants to know. Mark each of his requests with “most important”, “rather important” or “least important”. P10. Part A
2. Listen to a radio talk show about crosstalk and finish the exercise in Part B on P11
3. Read a small passage about Chinese crosstalk to get more information that will help you answer the questions of Bill and finish the e-mail.
Step4: Skills building 2---- asking questions
When you ask questions, you should remember to use the correct questions words and change the forms of your questions. Take Bill’s questions as example:
1. What is crosstalk? (used when the answer is a noun or a statement.)
2. When did it start? (used when the answer is a date or a period of time)
3. Where can you see or hear it?(used when t he answer is a na me of a place )
4. Do people study it at school? (used for a gene ral question)

Step5: Skills building 3---answering questions in an e-mail
Use the information learnt in skills building 1 and skills building 2 to write an e-mail to Bill a nd answer his questions. When you write the e-mail, remember to mention the questions in case Bi ll has forgotten them. Below are the tips:
Make a list.
You can write each question, followed by the answer:
