Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in.

Begin the class by asking one or two students to tell us something about Giacomo Puccini and his opera Turandot.

Step 2 Information collection.

Teacher asks students to think about what an exhibition board about a famous composer will be like if we want to introduce a famous composer to the public.

Teacher shows possible example to students.

Step3 Presentation.

Four or five groups are encouraged to give their presentations to the class.

Step 4 Game time.

Teacher gives some information about one famous composer little by little. Students are expected to guess who the composer is.

Step 4 Consolidation.

Consolidate what they have learnt in class and practice writing the life story of Beethoven using the information given below.
