教学设计思路:
我选用的教材是重大版必修三 Unit 6 A Great Man in a Wheelchair,这篇文章主要是从教育,成就等方面,介绍科学家霍金的一生,是一篇典型的人物传记类文章。我认为此类文章对于学生有一定吸引力,但文章篇幅略长,知识点较多较繁琐。我所任教班级,学生基础较薄弱。
所以,对于这篇文章知识点的处理,我从人物传记这种体裁出发,把握介绍人物最关键的写作技巧---同位语的运用,对文章进行了改写。将这篇长达400词左右的文章缩写成了一篇约104个单词的人物小传记。小传记既对文章信息进行了梳理,又训练了学生语法填空的技能。在这种语言文本环境中,学生自己去发现,分享优美的短语,以主人翁的角色去挑选自己喜欢的短语进行仿写句子,进行分享,以民主的方式评出“佳句”,从而获得成就感。
在同位语写作技能输入环节,我呈现3句介绍人和物的句子,让他们自己讨论找共性,理解体会同位语是什么,及如何使用;然后让他们自己回归文本,自己去找类似的句子结构,进一步检测他们是否能辨识同位语;最后进行句子改写,翻译,造句这些练习,帮助他们一步一步地输出有同位语的句子。
在最后巩固环节,我采用小组合作学习,抽卡片,根据要点写传记,让其它组猜一猜的活动,激发他们团队合作能力。
Teaching Aims:
At the end of the class, the students will be able to

Teaching important and difficult points:
How to beautify a sentence with apposition. help the students practise their reading skills, especially the ability of thinking beyond the lines.
How to write a biology of a person logically.
