Step 1. Greetings and getting students ready for class
Show a time machine and go back to yesterday.
T: Hello boys and girls. Do you know what it is? It’s a time machine. We can take the time machine to anytime. So today we will enjoy a time travel. Are you ready?
First, let’s go back to this Monday. What did we learn on Monday?
1. Quick Eyes Game: Catch the words and write them down.
T: Let’s play a game called “quick eyes”. Remember as many words as you can. stove, goose, disappear, flame, match, dark, happily.
2. Make the words into word chunks.
T: Read the words together. And then make them into word chunks.

设计意图:以时光机为主线,让学生搭乘时光机回到过去,复习本单元重点。闪卡游戏唤醒学生的记忆,复习单词,进行热身,吸引学生注意力,让学生快速进入学习状态。将单词变成的词块都是和活动有关,为最后产出做铺垫。贪吃蛇造句游戏能让学生发挥学生想象力,连词成句,学会使用所学的单词。整个环节按照单词-词块-句子,逐渐递进。

Ask students about their activities last Sunday. Then make a Survey and do a report.
