Step 1. Warming up

1. Brain storm.

Show them the pictures and try to find the main topic of the pictures.

T: Boys and girls, first of all, let’s play a game. That is "Brain Storm". Would you please tell me the key word or phrase according to the pictures? For example, the key word about the first four pictures is “Fruit”. You know?

Ss look and say.

Fruit---animals---drinks---colours---weather---hobbies

2. Catch the main topic of this text: Road safety

T: OK. Let’s exchange. Here are the pictures. Picture one and two. Pictures three and four. Picture five and six. And the key phrase is “Road safety”. Can you guess what “Road safety” mean?
