The content of this course is from comes from the eighth grade Ren’ai English Book Unit 4 Our World Topic 2 How can we protect ourselves from the earthquake ? Section B,The lesson type is listening and speaking .The main content of this lesson is to talk about the events of Yushu Earthquake and to guide students to enhance their awareness of earthquake prevention, and to master the methods of protecting themselves from the earthquake. In recent years, the school attaches great importance to the escape drill in the earthquake. The students in grade two have a certain understanding of earthquake escape, but they do not know how to express them in English. Section C is about the method of earthquake escape, so that students can use Sc to prepare for the activities in the study.

Teaching aims

1. Be able to read the words follow phonetic symbols

2. Be able to say the words according to pictures then spell words correctly.

3. Be able to Understand conversations about earthquakes.

4. Be able to get information from the what Ss listen and finish the form

5. Be able to describe how to avoid earthquake disasters.

Emotional aims:
