Encouraging a friend to work out regularly

教学目标

By the end of this section, students will be able to:

1. acquire expressions of giving suggestions;

2. discuss various exercises which can be fitted into a tight schedule.

教学重难点

1. To understand Leo’s problem and offer suggestions;

2. To develop a better understanding of exercise by viewing, reading and speaking.

教学过程

步 骤 教学活动 设计意图 互动时间&模式 Lead-in Step 1 The teacher shows students some pictures and invites the students to speak out the names of the exercise.

The teacher has students discuss the following question:

What do these sports have in common?

They are easy to find time and space;

They don’t have to pay much;

They can be done with friends and families. 呈现5张图片,要求学生说出运动的名称,并讨论这些运动有什么样的共同点,以图片引入,并聚焦本课话题,为后续的学习做好铺垫。 5’
