2. identify the decisive factors for the box office success;

3. know the benefits of seeing films.

1. To know and distinguish different film types;

2. To share their favourite film types and express their opinions about what makes a successful film.

1. The teacher initiates a free talk with students on the topic “What is a film?” to arouse their interests. The teacher asks students what they think a film is and then asks them to read Stanley Kubrick’s quote on Page 1 and asks for their understanding.
